Brand New, just out-of-the-box and can't connect. I have eliminated the wiring to the router as the problem and have reset both the router and SlingBox several times with no change. I am trying to connect to an Apple Airport Extreme and am thinking there is some setting in the router that needs to be made for this to work correctly, or I have a devective SlingBox. I have searched for similar problems on the net but can't find answers.....please someone help!!!
Customer support was very helpfull. They had no idea why the connection couldn't be made and finally suggested I purchase a Cat6 cable because of the distance to the router (only about 20"), but sure enough, once the Cat6 cable was plugged in, the connection fired up almost instantly. Thanks to SlingBox support!!
