    No video signal?


      Recently purchased M1 slingbox. I am unable to get a video signal though I did have one when I initially set it up. I am on Bell Fibe with an Arris VIP 2262 set box/pvr. If I connect a random component cable end into the yellow composite outlet it works (though the picture is either black and white or red). If there is a conflict with my tv HDMI connection and the component connection, why does it work with the composite.

          I am guessing if you remove the HDMI cable from the box then the component output will work.   And the reason the composite will work all the time is because that is Standard Definition and the TV companies don't care about that, they just want to block High Definition signals.
