Forgot to mention. I had this same issue with the iPhone app. On the iPhone app it would do this every time I went to the Guide also. I used the app until Dish came out with the Dish Remote Access app which works better but still goes into this play the video in the preview mode at times.
Have iOS 4.2.1. Have S109 on the 922.
BTW, I tried the Guide on the iPad app and got the same "preview" window only results.
Please tell me how to work around this ... or fix it.
The main issue is that the SlingLoaded VIP922 DVR is not a supported device. This means that the application will not work properly. Since you are using the Dish Remote Access, we recommend you to contact their support department.
