Both my wife's older iPad and my new iPad Pro get the same behavior when we try to connect.
1. Hit "Connect".
2. After the first time, it will say Disconnecting... Connecting... Connected...
3. Responds "Starting"
4. Popup saying "Slingplayer cannot connect to your Slingbox. Please make sure your iPad and Slingbox are connected to the Internet and try again. OK"
Slingbox is working fine from Chrome so it isn't the Slingbox. And the iPad has full internet connectivity and good bandwidth otherwise.
For such a brilliant base product the app really is a disappointment.
