If you tested the connection at your Slingbox location, you never used the Internet service. Even though the Slingbox is up and running you will have to make some adjustments on your router settings.

without providing step by step guidance.
I tried to follow the Setup Assistant instruction some seven times and it always leads to nought -- it never tells me
where I find the parameters that are needed (such as IP address).
Unfortunately the Slingbox works with all my laptops in Oakland, but when I come to Mexico I get the samemessage (firewall?)
