Thank you for posting in the Answers Forum. I see, you're having problems once your logged in to your Sling account you get the 'Select Video Input' screen.
The more details and information you can provide, the better we (the forum community and Sling Media) can help.
- What device are you using ( desktop, laptop, iPad, etc)?
- What Slingbox model do you have?
- If possible screenshot error you have?

I have the same issue. It's the "Slingplayer for Windows" application. It doesn't matter if it's a desktop (Windows 7 x64, Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM), or my laptop (Windows 7 x64, Intel Core i7, 8 GB RAM).
I have a slingbox 500.
There isn't an error with the windows application. It just acts as though you never configured the input source. It does not allow you to watch via the app. If you try to reconfigure the source the only button you get is "Watch in Browser" instead of just "Watch". Clicking the "Watch in Browser" actually spawns a browser.
Also, IE 11 plugin crashes the browser now. Chrome will stop working after about a minute of usage.
When I debug it, it looks like there are errors in whatever script someone put into production in the last 24 hours. It errors on attempting to get a bitrate as well as an error with the video player object.
Since the windows application is just a chrome window basically, this is probably why it's not working. Until the scripts are fixed, none of the browser plugin or the windows app will work correctly =p.
Seems Maggie also has a thread on this same problem, just posted over there.
All the best is finding a resolution to your "undocumented feature" (BUG).
Or El Duderino (if your not into the whole brevity thing)
They have disabled their desktop app. You now have to view directly from the sling box website.
Go to http://www.slingbox.com
Viewing this way isn't as good as the old way for me, but we have no choice.
