I reset everything again and went through set up. It worked last night and now this morning it says it cannot communicate. If I go to slingbox.com and try to watch it says this , " Connections to your slingbox from the internet have been disabled. Please contact your Sling subscription provider".
What does this mean???????
It seems to be an issue with the network at home, as you said, it could be the SlingLinks or the router itself that is changing the IP address when you run the Internet Viewing setup. To check if the SlingLinks are working good, I suggest that you check this steps;
For the router, you can try to assign a static IP address to the Slingbox and then run the setup for Internet Viewing, with this you will confirm that the Slingbox IP will be always the same
