I myself have had a pro hd and a solo for a number of years. today I reloacted to another room my pro hd, (from Direct tv to a Tivo premiere) - as all I wanted to do is access over the air antenna which was already set up on the pro. upon relocating, I my box stopped working, now 7 hours later (after getting to internet viewing in setup) and calling xfinity where they opened up port 5001 on the router, my slingbox still failed to operate. frustrated I tried about 10 times to reinstall, soft reseting on box and even hard reset. eventually by accident saw older icon on desktop for an earlier version of slingplayer. Low and behold it worked, was able to see both my boxes, (one is 200 miles away). I say there must be major problems with the new desktop version. again older version works fine.
