You should be asked to either create an account or log into an account soon after confirming that your virtual remote is working; completing this will register your Slingbox 500 to your account. If, for any reason, you do not see this step, you will need to reset the Slingbox and reconfigure it. I have linked the setup and reset process below, just in case:
If you have already completed the setup and are unsure if the registration has been completed, I would recommend checking the Directory tab on your account page to see if the unit shows up. This can be accessed from here:
