    Droid X cannot connect to Dish VIP922

      I recently set up my new VIP922 receiver with Sling.

      I can view it thru my desktop via internet fine.

      I installed the app in my Droid X but cannot get it to connect to the sling!

      When I run the app it finds and identifies the receiver but when I click on it,

      I get the message:

      "Connection failed. Please make sure your phone and Slingbox are connected to the internet."

      Of course they both are.

      Are there any settings in the phone that need to be changed?

      The browser works fine so I have a connection to the internet.

       

      Anyone having the same issue or anyone have a fix?
