I am trying to setup a Slingbox model SB260 with a Frontier Cisco ISB 7005 cable box. I can't see where to place the 2 remote sensors.
A photo of the cable box is attached.
Shine a powerful flashlight along the front. The IR Receiver will be behind smoked glass, but you should be able to see it with the light.
I couldn't see it with a flashlight. Is it possible this cable box uses radio frequency instead of IR?
Possible, but so far I haven't seen any reports on this forum of an RF-only device, they all seem to be switchable. Try using the real remote from about 1" away with 2 pieces of cardboard blanking it off.
I must admit I assumed you would have least read the manual before posting this question. Apparently not.

I don't have the manual for the cable box and I couldn't find it online.
Anyway, you have answered my question and I really appreciate it.
I just did a Google search for
cisco isb 7005 manual
popped up immediately
