    Time to toss out my SlingPlayer?

      My 500 worked for three days after the close of the warranty and suddenly I couldn't access it from any remote location on any device or computer. It always said it couldn't find my Slingbox. I tried resetting and starting from scratch, but the set-up process calls for connecting to "Slingbox" in the Wi-Fi settings. That doesn't show up. My guess is that whatever receives/emits the wifi signal in the 500 is no longer functioning and I'm out my purchase price. I don't want to invest more money with a call to tech support when it appears to be a hardware issue. Does anyone have any insights?
