    Ethernet connection to M1

    Visibility: Open to anyone

      Just bought a new M1 and connected it to my router via the ethernet as per instructions. But my router will not find it - even though the internet light on the Slingbox is continuously lit [which I think means it is on OK?]. In the UK, running BT Homehub and Windows 8? Any suggestions [otherwise I am taking it back to the shop with a complaint that I think I have a faulty unit?
