    Classic or Solo

With the classic or solo, do you over ride what the reciever box is doing?  And can I watch something different if someone else is watching at the same time and the same reciever box that the Sling is connectesd too?

The Slingbox isn't a magical device.  It can only rebroadcast what it "sees" and "hears".  Think of it as a virtual TV.  So, the only way to not interrupt the local view is by plugging into a video source that isn't being viewed locally.  The Slingbox Classic does have an analog tuner which could be setup auxilliary from the local viewing.  However, the Slingbox Classic only has a analog tuner, so compatibility is quite limited since the digital transition conversion.

hey , thanks for the reply! I have decided to go with the solo. and was also wondering, because I am overseas at the moment. I have shipped the unit to my sister address to set up. Will it be a problem to set it up on my comp and watch?
