    Internet Veiwing away from Slingbox problems


      After watching Slingbox for 2 hours, all of a sudden my picture is "split in half" with a horizontal black line in the middle of picture. Have a Slingbox Pro HD. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm 8,ooomiles away from my slingbox

          I wonder if your set-top box is also connected to the TV via HDMI or DVI and that someone is home watching TV.  This is because it is not entirely uncommon for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) to cause the symptoms that you describe.  It's possible that someone turned on the TV alerting the set-top box to a HDCP compliant connection.  Now it is actively distrupting the analog video connections which are supplied to the Slingbox.
