    unable to slingbox to work

      How do you verify that your connections are correct. I keep getting an error message that says this:

      We're searching for a Slingbox, but can't find one on your Network, or in your Sling Account

      1. Be sure to connect the cables before powering up your Slingbox.
      2. On the front of the Slingbox, verify that the Network and Power lights are on.
      3. If you are a guest user, make sure that you have access to a Slingbox.
      4. Check that security software is not blocking access to your Slingbox.
      5. Verify that you don't have any network issues.

      The #1 is correct

      #2 all lights are on and the horseshoe type light is blinking

      #3 I'm not the guest user

      #4  HOW DO I CHECK SECURITY SOFTWATE TO SEEE IF IT'S BLOCKING ACCESS TO SLINGBOX

      #5 HOW DO I VERIFY THAT I DON'T HAVE ANY NETWORK ISSUSES.

      I really don't know why I'm having problems I'm not sure if the NETWORK PASSWORD IS CORRECT. How can I verify this.
