    problem with slingbox 350 remote app, connected to Xfinity Pace PR150BNM

      Why does the slingbox 350 remote app, connected to Xfinity Pace PR150BNM, on the" xfinity" menu jump 2 buttons when going right or left?  E.g. pressing right once from "guide" will always jump 2 buttons to "on demand" rather than one button to "saved". Since there is even number of buttons, you can't access "saved".  The problem also exists using "on demand" button for its subsequent menu.  There seems to be problem with this slingbox app.

          No, it's a well known problem with all the Slingboxes (I guess you didn't do a search of the forum before posting ?  there are lots of posts about it).  Basically Sling decided to 'hard-wire' the IR system so it always sends 3 copies of the signal.  This ensures the receiver has a good chance of picking it up.  The problem, as you are finding, is that a sensitive receiver will react to 2, or even all 3 of the IR bursts, causing the double-skip.

           

          Now, there is nothing that can be done with the built-in remotes, but if you use a Custom Remote it is sometimes possible to tweak it to set the repeat rate to zero.   Before I spend time working on this can you try the Custom Remote at Pace RNG150N and see if it works ?
