I have search the forum, I have tried the troubleshooting. I could not be sure that the IR emitter is working properly as I do have an iphone and could not really tell if it was putting out a signal.
As a I mentioned my 350 had been working just fine for 2+ years. I have tried with and without the IR cable, same result. The on screen remote does not change the sling box.
Have you heard of the IR just stop working? Any help would be appreciated.
Wondering if you ever solved the problem with the remote control... I have the same issue and also had the box about two years.
Although I see the TV picture - the virtual remote will not work and I have swapped out the 'eye' type for the 'pyramid type' and tried a duplicate 'eye' type I had... I read that there were IR devices in the sides of the 350 also and tried putting this next to the TV box - but nothing seems to work.
Would be grateful for any advice from anyone!

I have had my 350 for about two years and have not had any issues. About one month ago my on screen remote control stopped working.
I have performed a reconfiguration, swapped out cables, added the IR cable, swapped out my cable box, performed a hard reset. Nothing has fixed this problem. My cable remote control works just fine. I have Comcast as my cable provider.
Anyone else with a similar problem?
Any help would be appreciated.
