    Problems with DirecTV after switching to component cables


      We have a Slingbox 500 and had no problems with it until recently when DirecTV blocked using the slingbox with HDMI cable.  Soooo, I switched to component cables as was recommended, and now when I try to watch from the slingbox, I get a "no video signal" message.  I know everything is hooked up correctly cause I can watch TV just fine on the TV this slingbox is hooked to.  Also, when I pull up the DirecTV remove in the slingplayer app and push on the guide button, the guide pops up on the TV if I go see what is happening on the TV, so I know I am connecting to the slingbox. 


      Why would I get a no video signal when everything is hooked up correctly?
