    no video

      Hello,

      I have read some material regarding no  video signal, this is my set up.

      1. composite cables red, green, blue no hdmi connected

      2. I can control the remote to change channels, but like I said no visual signal.  

       

      Any help would be appreciated

      I didn't realize that I had to buy audio cables also, so there was no sound from my t.v.  I'll get those later on.

          Those aren't composite cables they are component. Composite is YELLOW (video) and RED/WHITE (audio).

           

          Check that you have selected COMPONENT on your Slingbox.

           

          I assume this is on the 500?

                Thank you, but I made a mistake I have them all plugged into the right places and I was on the right input. Do I have to change something on the settings from hdmi to component ?

                    You have to select the correct video on your viewing options on your Slingbox app or player.

                     

                    You are getting sound so I am thinking you are just on the wrong video selection because the audio is correct for either COMPOSITE or COMPONENT inputs - the audio is shared between both.

                     

                    Also try unplugging your HDMI cable from your Slingbox if this is the 500 and just use the RED, GREEN and BLUE cables.
