I using a slingbox solo. Had a minor issue requiring a reset. The reset has lead to a software update as part of the
re-setting up (not sure what the correct word there is). The software update stops at 25% and stays there. Did some
research and realized my system is no longer supported. That's how I got where I am. Yes, if I didn't have a network
problem that caused a reset, it may still work. However, now that I've had to set up the box like a new customer with
the software update I can't get around, it appears I now have a bathtub boat anchor. Very frustrating.
I hope that clears up the situation.
Thank you for your reply.
Any suggestions are welcome.
I have a sling box solo, purchased it in 2009. I have used it a lot and it has worked very well, up until now. I am using it on a MacBook Air with
OS X version 10.8.5, 1.8 GHz intel Core i5, 4 GB1600 MHZ DDR3. It appears I can no longer use my sling box because they no longer
support the software in my computer. Can anyone confirm/deny/ or add suggestions on this? Thank you.
