I've run into a problem today that I can't seem to find the solution for. I was remotely viewing through the SlingPlayer application and the stream began to lag a bit, so I closed and reopened the software. I had no problem connecting and was able to view the stream again, however my remote had disappeared and the option to open it again is greyed out.
I read in a couple of topics that running through the video sources setup again often solved this problem but despite being able to correctly stream my video source (but not use the remote) I can't connect to the setup assistant through either the desktop application or the web-based setup. Is my only option to have someone run through the setup locally or do I have other options?
