Can I send other forms of media over the slingbox?

I am thinking of buying a Slingbox but not for TV.  I was interested in knowing if i could use the Slingbox to watch something from my Blu-ray player, PS3 or Roku.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

          Hello!

So long as the unit you're trying to stream from with the Slingbox can be connected through component/composite cabling, you can attach and stream from just about anything; however, that doesn't mean a remote will be available. For example, if you were to hook up the PS3, you may be able to view whatever is already there, more than likely your settings/games/tv options, but you wouldn't be able to control it, so you would just be able to watch the background color shimmer and change (if you're using a default background anyways), but not much else.

Before anything, I would use this article to search the product you'll be trying to stream with and see if we have a default remote for it:

          I hope this helps!!
