If you already have your Slingbox setup for local viewing. All you have to do is configure your router to enable remote viewing. You'll need to set up your router's firewall rules to foward both UDP and TCP port to your Slingbox's private IP address. This will allow internet orientated requests to reach your Slingbox.

I need a bit of help with a new SKY router, Sagem and from what I have managed to asertian from googling its a f@st2504 model number. Slingbox do not list it and need a bit of step by step to set the router up to allow remote viewing. thanks. I have the network Key and Mac address.
Looks like I managed it, I found the detials on Skys website for allowing port forwarding for another device it gave me the log on detials and then used the slingbox guide by selecting a router that was listed, they are all pritty similar menus so it did not take long to figare it out thanks for the reply, I checked what i had done against the link you sent. Just need to try it tomorrow from my Dads to make sure its working. thanks again. Slingbox set up did test the settings and confirmed it was OK. But nothing like seeing it playing from another laptop.
