    the ads disaster: Slingbox think again

      While I can appreciate that Slingbox has costs to maintain the service they made 2 big mistakes: 1. they never communicated their decision to add advertising to their customers; and 2. they did not provide the option to either continue using the service "free" with advertising or "with a fee" without advertising. That would have been a far better solution. So my questions to Slimgbox are: why did you not communicate your plans/decisions to the community that keeps you in a job and why did you not consider the "free with ads/fee based without ads" options? In addition on my desktop the ads have Spanish as interface language. That makes no sense whatsoever.

      How long will you ignore your users?
