Try clearing your cache and cookies. If that fails, try removing the plugin and re-installing it. If it is not a full cache that is blocking the connection, it could very well be the update didn't properly complete the first time. Here is an article that will walk you through removing the plug in:

I am sorry to hear that wasn't helpful for you. To answer your question roughly four gigs, you could try running a disk defragmenter on your PC to clean up any broken free space. If that doesn't work you can try one of our Desktop Players. Provided below are the links to both the old player, which is specific for your model Slingbox, and the new, which will work for viewing your Slingbox only:

- Uninstall Slingplayer Chrome Extension
- Uninstall Chrome
- Run cookie, cache, etc. cleaner (such as CCleaner)
- Restart Windows
- Reinstall Chrome
- Reinstall Slingplayer for Chrome
Pain in the rear to do it, but It worked. In fact, the signal-to-noise seems a little better. Odd.
