If you just bought it....take it back! They released new software today which simply doesn't work. There are a few threads in here about people with the same problem. So in the last two weeks, Slingbox has "improved" their product by forcing paid ads upon its customers while we wait for the system to connect, and another gem.....they have terminated the online chat help which was needed on a regular basis as everytime something "new and improved" is added on the product doesn't work.
For extra fun now, Slingbox has decided to charge their customers $29 for EVERY call to the help line. In other words this piece of **** company is grabbing for every last dollar they can get likely in a desperate attempt to keep the company alive. If they only had products that work and supported existing owners perhaps, just maybe they could survive and prosper. Take it back mhaucke....just take it back.

If you have completed the setup for your 350, you have entered the model of your satellite box and that step in the setup is for your virtual remote. If it is not responding, go ahead and check out this support article and let us know if it helps, or doesn't.
