WE HAVE NO SOUND. ANY IDEAS? NOT A COMPUTER PROBLEM. NO SOUND AT THE SLINGBOX EITHER. BRAND NEW BUT WORKED FINE TWO DAYS AGO. PLEASE HELP.
Check the audio settings on your settop box and post here what it is set to. Make sue it is analog stereo.
Also try plugging the audio output from your settop box into an amplifier - is there audio getting to your amp?
It is likely that the problem is in your settop box not the Slingbox.
worked fine two days ago and setup box has not been touched since.
Can you check that you haven't muted the audio output on your box. I did this and went looking for more complex solutions when it was mute button pushed!
You need to confirm audio is coming through your audio outputs.
Working today. Think it was a sling box website problem. We checked the
mute button multiple times on both ends. Also the apple air it was
streaming through. Without changing anything it is working fine now.
