This really depends on your Slingbox Model. If you have a Legacy Model, for example the Slingbox PRO-HD or Slingbox SOLO, you would need to complete a hard reset on the unit itself. I have placed an article below that covers the reset process on each unit:
With the newer units, like the Slingbox 500, you could follow these steps instead of a full hard reset, or complete the hard reset if you'd prefer:
Last, but not least, with the Slingbox M1, you would follow these steps, but could also do the hard reset if you'd prefer a fresh start:
