It sounds like you may have linked the HDMI and component inputs through setup. If that's the case, it is normal for the HDMI to be "disabled" through the SlingPlayer. This is a precaution to prevent you from running into any sort of content protection which could hinder streaming. With that being said, you can still reconfigure the inputs if you'd like.

To reconfigure, just follow the steps in the second article above and go into "settings" within Watch on Slingbox.com.
