    SlingPlayer Connection Lost

      I just set up Sling Box 350 and it worked yesterday. I  haven't made any changes but I get a message on the SlingPlayer app saying "Slingplayer connection lost. Please make sure you device and Slingbox are connected to the internet and try again."They are connected, at least the light is on and when I open the website on my PC the System Status says its operating normally.

       

      How do I fix this?

      How do I know the SlingBox is working?

          Hi MonicaB,

           

          With the connection issues that you are having, there could be numerous causes. Ranging from a bad ethernet cable to a malfunctioning device. You should run a speed test on your network to make sure that you are meeting the minimum requirements of the Slingbox.  You can also, try to uninstall and install the SlingPlayer app again.
