Actually these are 2 completely different problems. Alex cannot connect to the Internet, which I am afraid I cannot help with. Mark cannot find a remote and there I might be able to help.
I assume you have already done a proper Forum Search for your model number in case other people have already answered your question ?

I have a slingbox 500 and have just switched over to comcast cable. I first had a standard box which connected to the internet just fine but the model number was not in the slingbox setup so I had to use a similar remote to the one I have, I have just switched to an DVR box and now it is saying I can't connect to the internet but I was just connected to the internet with the other box, has anybody else had problems with any new xfinity boxes from comcast or any other ideas.
