I've gone through this many times and have looked all over the internet and have found no answers. I start up slingplayer app. I select my slingbox by selecting setup. I choose Connect using Ethernet.I get the "Connection Successful" screen. I click Check for Update. It says checking for the latest slingbox software. Then I'm back to the screen asking how to connect.

Thank you for posting to the Community. With the issue that you are having, is it stuck in a continuous loop? If you selected the connection type again after it loops you back the first time, what happens? Have you tried to preform a factory reset on the Slingbox?
