I purchased SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Mobile/Pocket PC and just got off the phone with "Technical Support".
They told me that I would have to repurchase if I wanted SlingPlayer Mobile on my Android device.
They said that they don't have an area in the application to enter a registration key so I was out of luck.
I also asked about getting the .apk file so I could load it since I was a verified customer of theirs, and again no.
Even thought there own website says that you can transfer the registration to a new device as long as you purchased from them and the product is for sale on their site. I feel very slighted by this. I'm even a beta tester for Sling.
You won't be able to transfer license because license management is currently being handled by a third-party for your phone. This is why people who purchase the Slingplayer Mobile from the Apple, Microsoft, and Google marketplaces aren't able to transfer their license between each other.
