As long as the TV has a component or composite output on the back you should be OK. It will mean the TV has to be on all the time if you want to use the M1 of course. And you may need me to build you a Custom Remote file.
The Slingbox is basically designed to take the output of a Cable/Satellite/DVR device and not a TV, so the supported remotes come in those categories. I have never tried but I suspect there are no TVs in their remote database. So as I said you 'may' need a Custom Remote.
