With HDMI, you could potentially run into HDCP. HDCP, or High-Bandwidth Digital Copyright Protection, will cause certain content(or all content) to not stream when connected from the cable box to the Slingbox. To receive all your content, we advise to use component cables with the HDMI cable. But with this, you could run into SOC. SOC, or selectable Output Control, will cause other outputs to not stream when plugging in an HDMI cable to certain cable boxes.
