    3 questions #2.  Roku.. wireless, slower ?

If I use a Roku 2 on a tv does slingbox send the signal straight to the roku within my LAN ?  The Roku is wireless. will this be slower than if I watched tv on a networked computer ?

          Hey abefroman57,

Just thought I would touch bases with you to remind you that when you connect to a Roku to view your Slingbox, you also have to have an iPhone or Android Phone with the SlingPlayer on it to stream to the Ruko.

They both have to be on the same WiFi network.

So if you are watching the Roku at the home location of the Slingbox, Yes you are on your LAN (Local Area Network).

Here is the FAQ's article for Roku's:

Watching Slingbox on your Network Computer will still be on your LAN.  The speeds should be around the same.

          Hope this helps!!
