I'm really stumped - I've got my Slingbox 350 working fine through other clients, but I just got the Windows 8 app on my PC (running Windows 8.1, and updated from Windows update this morning, so everything should be up to date), and it refuses to connect to the slingbox, saying that "someone else is already connected" (which they aren't, I've made sure that I've disconnected from the other clients). I can connect fine using Chrome and the slingbox.com site from the same machine, so this seems to be something specific to the Windows 8 app not being able to connect, rather than an issue with the machine or a firewall issue. Whilst I can use Chrome, I really would prefer to use the app, if I can. Thanks very much for any suggestions!

I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the application. Here is the FAQ for the Windows 8.1 application for future use.
