    Slingbox SOLO does not power up

      I have used this SOLO several times lately but today it will not power up.  When I plug in the power adapter the single red LED in the middle of the box (where the U shaped logo is) blinks 5 times and nothing happens.  The Power and Network LEDs on the right do not light up.  Eveything is connected as usual and the box worked fine just a few weeks ago.

            I had the exact problem and replaced the external power supply with the same specs and it works great now. I guess the original power supply got weak. I had to splice the connector (check the polarity before you do this) and make sure the +- polarity is correct.
