As long as the file has closed captioning, it will be displayed through the Slingbox. There is not an option to turn these on or off. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The Slingbox 500 is only able to view one file at a time. As long as the subtitles are included in video, they will display through the Slingbox. This means if you see the subtitles on another device with that devices subtitles feature off it will be shown on through the Slingbox.
