Well, it was a year ago but I contacted the US chat support and told them my Slingcatcher didn't work and they gave me the number for European support, since I bought it on eBay UK.
I rang this number (sorry, I don't have it anymore) and I was given an RMA and they replaced it promptly and without fuss. The guy said they kept some stock back for replacements.
So try US chat support and see if you can get lucky!

If you call in the US support line (877-467-5464) we will be able to process an out of warranty replacement for you at the cost of $199.99.
