yes I have an account and a password. But:
I log in on iPad 3.
Then I come into the SlingPlayer-Setup, Slingbox is found, I can see my Slingbox. I choose that Slingbox , and the message is:
No Slingbox Password.
Please enter Slingbox password.
Admin Password? ON or OF
The Password of my accont does not work.
On my Mac there is no "second" password required, also not on my iPad 2 with the older SlingPlayer software. My account is active and running. The only problem mentioned above is on my iPad 3 (see atachement).

I assume the reason why you don't need a password on the Mac/iPad 2 is because they have remembered the admin passord you allocated the very first time you set up the Slingbox. I assume you have forgotten that ?
I don't know of any way to retrieve the password, although Sling support might. All I can suggest is you factory reset the Slingbox and set it up completely from scratch and this time remember the password
