This is puzzling. It almost sounds like you were given a bad copy of the program. I would recommend uninstalling the program and reinstalling it to make sure you are getting the correct software version.

I know I'm in the wrong post here, but I wanted to respond to a sling rep directly. How is it that I'm still on hold after an hour and 33 minutes on thanksgiving? Wait time are unacceptable. I'm leaving to go out of the country today and will not be able to access my sling box. I forgot my password and unlike every other site in the world where you answer a security question and change your password slingbox makes you reset your device. Even that didn't work, so I called. Here I sit 1 hour and 35 minutes later with the phone on speaker while I pack, shower, shave, cook and eat... Still I hold... Terrible customer service...email@example.com
