    To Whom It May Concern!

      Dear SlingMedia,

I hope this email finds you in good spirits and your day is going very well!  I am writing to find out what I need to do to become a member of your "secret beta users club".  As a slingbox owner and an owner of several Blackberry phones (some have worked with my Slingbox Solo and some have not)  a risk I was willing to take when I purchased my Slingbox. I have presently switched phones (HTC Incredible) and would like to know if 1.) This phone will be compatible with the Sling mobile app for the Droid phones and 2.) Could I get some beta app love?  It seems that most of the videos floating around the internet from "people" who are testing the beta app are those that critique cell phones.  Why not use common everyday people (like myself) so that we can also give you feedback of your beta?  People that travel through the day and can really put your beta app to the test.  IMO this would be a really good idea to consider.

      Thank You For Your Time

After a public beta spanning a couple months, Sling is rolling out the  latest piece of its expanding SlingPlayer Mobile portfolio this week -- this time for Android, plugging the biggest  coverage gap it currently has. This is the same app we recently  had an opportunity to check out, but since that preview, we're  happy to report that it's been massaged into a more stable, more usable  setup -- gone are the disconnect crashes we'd had before. Furthermore,  Sling claims they've specifically worked to improve load and response  times with this version, and we have to say that the effort is  noticeable -- this definitely feels like the fastest SlingPlayer Mobile  we've used to date. It's officially available starting tomorrow from the  Market in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy,  Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and the US for $29.99. Follow  the break for the full press release.
