Jose, thank you for your reply. I did refer to that article first and after further discussion with Sling Media technical support, they agreed that the Slingcatcher unit was bricked and that after multiple hard resets of differing durations, it would not get past the System Recovery screen and that my network setup was working fine. This may be a one off, but if others have the same issue and performing hard resets causes them to get stuck at the System Recovery screen, they may have a bricked unit (after deeply ensuring there is not a true network connectivity issue).
