Thanks for posting in the forums! I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing video quality issues when connecting to your Slingbox via SlingPlayer for iPad.
I understand it may be an issue because of the update. However, if it was, we would be seeing quite a bit of people posting with the same issue. I will post a link to an article that provides troubleshooting that may help resolve this issue.

Slingbox people wake up... I have had NO problems for the nine months I have had my 500. However with the last iPad update the sling has almost become unusable. Streaming g is very slow and the program keeps getting corrupted. I have to keep dumping the app and re- installing nearly every time I use the app. Note that it works fine on my laptop.... Please check out the latest revision .... There Is something very wrong.
