However, the Slingbox will always do this to the cable box it is connected to if it is connected using component, composite, or S-video. However, there is a way to avoid the channel wars. You can take advantage of the built-in tuner in the Slingbox PRO-HD. You can do this by hooking a splitter to your main coax cable that goes to the coax IN on your cable box. With the two available ports left on the splitter, you will run one coaxial cable to the IN on the Slingbox, and the other Coaxial cable to the IN on the cable box.
