    Network port dead?

      Hi,
      The Network connection light on my SB is not lit.
      I checked the cable and it is working.
      The SB network connector is connected to a router.
      When plugged in the connection light of the corresponding port that the SB is connected to also does not light.
      It appears that the port is dead.
      Questions:
      How do I fix this?
      Will a reset fix this?
      Is this a known problem?

          Hello kcslingding,

           

          Thank you for posting in the forums! I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with the network port on your Slingbox. I would recommend hard resetting the Slingbox to factory settings. If you do this, and the network light comes on for you, you will need to re-run through the setup assistant on setup.slingbox.com.
