Thanks for reaching out to us here! I do apologize for any inconvenience you're experiencing while trying to connect your SlingCatcher. Have you tried power cycling your SlingCatcher? I would also recommend that you make sure your Internet viewing is set up on your Slingbox as well.

The viewing on the computer was not a problem. Home network is in Sweden and the viewing was done in Malta. It's the update server that could not be reached. Will have to try the last resort then since viewing outside of the home network was possible? What is this update server anyway and I can't be the only person who's gotten that error message.
