Thanks for using our answers forum! I'm sorry for any inconvenience you're experiencing while trying to use SlingPlayer for iPhone or iPad. The Slingbox PRO and AV are not supported Slingbox models for use with SlingPlayer for iPhone or iPad. Those devices were released prior to us implementing software for use with mobile devices. You would need to have a compatible Slingbox Model in order to use these latest SlingPlayers.

Actually that isn't the complete story. Although not supported I think you will find that the Classic, AV & Pro still work OK with the iPhone app. Unfortunately the iPad will never work with the older boxes as it utilises a different system which requires the hardware of the newer boxes. But there is nothing to stop you running the iPhone app on an iPad in x2 mode.
I have the same problem, tested on Slingbox Solo and HD Pro, I am using Ipad and Apple TV, it was working perfekt before the last update!!!

It's not the same problem. As the title says, the original poster (and I) are talking about the old generation of Slingboxes (AV,Classic and Pro). These have never worked with an iPad for technical reasons. You have the newer generation of Slingboxes which do work with the iPad.
To avoid confusion I suggest you open a new thread rather than use this one,
